Pat Condell: You Are My Enemy; I’m Proud of Saying it to You
Pat Condell is a 73-year-old comedian from Britain who has made it his mission to be critical of religions such as Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and other religious belief systems. Pat Condell also rants about the threat of mass migration from Third World countries to Western countries, especially immigration from Muslim countries, which he sees as a threat to the existence of the West and its values, such as free speech, freedom of conscience, and other fundamental values. I must admit that when I joined YouTube at the end of 2008, I saw Pat Condell as one of my heroes because he uses humor to criticize all religions bluntly. I also saw Pat Condell as a hero when he took a stand against far-right political parties such as the British National Party, the National Front, and other racist, hateful groups with disdain for Jews, Blacks, and other people who are not White. In the years that came after, Pat Condell grew more and more radical, pandering to the right-wing extremists; don’t you believe me? Pat Condell has built a high profile with a far-right social media audience. I am embarrassed that someone I once looked up to has become fixated on the hatred of immigrants and other minorities, just like the Islamists and far-right groups he once condemned. Pat Condell even supports far-right organizations such as the Danish People’s Party from Denmark, the Norwegian Progress Party from Norway, the True Finns from Finland, the Freedom Party from Austria, Fidesz from Hungary. He believes that Donald Trump won the 2020 elections in the U.S.

Pat Condell believes that multiculturalism and political correctness are sucking the life out of Western society. He plays the victim card by saying that one can now be arrested for having the wrong opinion in Western countries, and he believes that democracy can no longer change the destiny of Western civilization. So Pat Condell wants that the West to go back to the times when Black people were referred to as the N-word (N***er or N***oes) without consequences. Pat Condell wants to go back to the time when Middle Eastern people and East Europeans were called “Wogs,” “Camel Jockeys,” and he wants to go back to the times when Jews were called “Yids,” or “Kikes;” I find it disgusting that Pat Condell reduces himself to be such fool because he believes in free speech, but for whom exactly? Now, he wants to be a hypocrite by acting like he’s fighting for Jews, but will he give a toss of Western White right-wing radicals denying the Holocaust, or will he only react when it is fundamentalist Muslims who come up with such horrendous thoughts and statements? What’s next? Does Pat Condell condone misogynistic ideas that some men have toward women in the name of free speech? I guess Pat Condell also intends to find bullying acceptable — what a fucking piece of shit.
Let me clarify: No religion is above criticism, and for a long time, some people on the Liberal Left have labeled individuals who are critical of Islam and Muslims as racists, and I find it offensive. I find it offensive because Islam is not a race but a religion, and religions are ideas that can and should be challenged and questioned in advanced societies that embrace enlightenment. Regarding Muslims, they’re not a race either because you have Black Muslims from various African countries and Western countries where you have Blacks who are either Muslims by birth or converts. You also have White Muslims (Arabs, Turks, Persians, Berbers, and European Muslims) and Muslims from different Asian countries who aren’t Caucasians.
From this context, I clarify that Muslims cannot be of a race but a segment of various groups from different parts of the world who believe in the Islamic faith. However, I find it offensive that apostates, homosexuals, and other communities are punished by death for what they are or what they happen to believe, and I call it out, no matter what it costs me on Medium. I also find it offensive that the academia and the Liberal Left resist the idea of bringing up the history of Islamic conquests of Europe and the role the religion played in the slave trade of Africans at the hands of the Ottoman Empire before Europeans showed up on the Sub-Saharan part of the continent.
The academia and the Liberal Left, especially Progressives, don’t bring up such uncomfortable truth because they see it as bigotry toward Muslims. So, Liberals and Progressives are telling me that Muslims are not equipped to deal with dark pasts in which their religion has played a role? Isn’t it an insult to Muslims? Isn’t it the bigotry of low expectations? We all know what happens when we disregard evil, and history is our greatest teacher, no matter who you are and where you come from. On the other hand, the mistake that I, Pat Condell, Tommy Robinson, Pamella Geller, Geert Wilders, and others have made and are still making is mistakenly thinking that every Muslim individual subscribes to the barbarity of violent verses of their holy book, that’s bigotry, and it took me a while to realize that. I am not going to stand for that crap anymore.
In addition, I also find it repulsive that people like Geert Wilders, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Pat Condell, Frank Gaffney, Wafa Sultan, Fleming Rose, Kurt Vestergaard, and others should not have to live in fear for their lives because they happen or happened to be critical of Islam in democratically elected societies where battle of ideas are presented to populations. To those who have and still carry death threats toward those individuals and others, I hope that they get their citizenship forfeited and are treated as the enemy of the people. You don’t have the right to threaten or kill others because they criticize Islam or another religion. You have the right to be angry because it is protected under the Constitution, just like someone has the right to criticize your religion. There are no excuses for bad faith arguments — these people, even though I don’t agree with some of their beliefs, deserve to walk free and live normal lives, just like the rest of us. Pat Condell doesn’t understand that he is trying to take away the rights of Liberals, Conservatives like myself, Progressives, and others to take a stand against bigotry, given that he wants freedom for right-wing extremists like himself. Some of the people who support Pat Condell chanted, I quote: “Jews are not going to replace us” in the United States; what does Pat Condell say about that? Where is his honor? Pat Condell wants minorities in Britain, France, Germany, and elsewhere to know their place because he sees them as less than. One day, Pat Condell will turn on Jews, just like he has turned on Blacks, Asians, and other groups of people who don’t look like him, in the name of freedom.
Pat Condell says that political correctness is killing the West, yet he lacks the courage to say that Donald Trump didn’t win the 2020 elections held in the U.S. To make matters worse, this son of the bitch believes that Donald Trump won the 2020 elections, and he is now into conspiracy theories carried by QAnon and other right-wing zealots in the U.S. If freedom is Pat Condell’s religion; what the fuck has this piece of shit done to condemn January 6, 2021, savage rioters stormed and attacked the United States Capitol? He was freaking silent. When January 6, 2021, terrorists in the United States attempted to kill the former Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence, where the fuck was Pat Condell? What does Pat Condell say when Blacks, Hispanics, and immigrant groups are slaughtered in the United States by right-wing hate groups? I guess those individuals don’t have value because they don’t look like him. In that case, Pat Condell is anti-freedom, hates what Britain and the other civilized Western countries stand for, and hates Western pluralism. In this case, Pat Condell should move to Hungary, Poland, Norway, Finland, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Iceland, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Russia, North Macedonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Bulgaria, where his bigotry, racism, and bloodshed resonates. To double down, Pat Condell is no different from radical Islamic terrorists who hate Israel and our way of life; they’re two sides of the same coin. There is no moral equivalence between hateful statements that lead to hate crimes and freedom because when you’re full of disdain, you’re dying inside; that’s not how to be free.
