Karmic Baggage

This channeled message from Archangel Metatron began with the tune Sloop John B, seemingly out of nowhere. Yet angels always act with purpose. Sure enough, the meaning and connection became clear by transmission’s end.

Question:

Is it true that addictions are rooted in a past life and can take many lifetimes to resolve?

Answer:

Addictions are engraved upon your soul through lifetimes of repetition. After all, walk the same path enough times, and your footsteps carve out a groove that eventually becomes a dark hole.

Addiction related to the present only would be less addiction, more annoying habit.

Upon tracing your addiction back to the initiating incident, it may not seem all that impactful. However, each new lifetime layered upon the previous creates a slippery slope poised to suck you back in.

Thereafter, with each successive lifetime, it becomes more difficult to climb out of the dark hole created from your footsteps.

The good news is that once you reach this level of awareness, it’s a simple matter of tracking your addiction back to the lifetime of origin to recover the memory or story of how it got started.

It may take some period of time to heal the layers, or they may all disappear like a poof of smoke. The experience is very individual. No matter. The healing path lies before you.

Healing & Clearing Addictions

Healing begins when you understand the source of your addiction. Understanding is a balm for the soul.
