Passion for Travelling
A Poem by HANA

Have you ever screamed; “I must go anywhere but here!” When at a station, at a port, or an airport.
My travel hummingbirds whisper to me; “Where are we going next?” “Which direction and when?” Who are flying around, coming and going.
Even when I’m meeting people in the office, “I need to see someone who I never met,” Even when I’m standing on the metro platform, “I want to feel the wind of the desert on my face.”
My travel spade stings my bottom, “When are you leaving?” “How long will you wait?” Which makes me feel uncomfortable sitting in the same place.
My travel monster sits on my shoulder, It’s getting heavier and heavier, Go, Move, Now, Right now! Before I am paralysed, Before I fall seriously ill.
Pull your suitcase out, and Pack your favourite things, Grab your passport, and Put unknown languages in your pockets. We are now ready for a neverending journey.
