Paranormal Holiday Short Story Challenge
WE PAW Bloggers Ezine — Issue 2023 Holiday Writing Challenge
For December, as administrator/owner of the Facebook group, editor of the Medium pub, and editor/publisher of the group ezine, I am curating a writing challenge for December. All submissions will be published individually, as a stand-alone issue of our group ezine in our group publication here on Medium.
The prompt is simple: “Share your paranormal holiday-themed short stories.” Contributions should not exceed a maximum of 1500 words. The deadline for submissions is 23 December 2023. Remember, you must submit your contributions in a new comment thread on the group post in Facebook, found here: Writing Prompt.
All contributions must include a third person bio of up to 500 words, but not less than 300 words. You must include a link to your blog. You may also include up to two self-promotion or direct sales links to your books.
Be sure to include an image to accompany your story that is, for preference, 1920x1787 pixels at 72 resolution. Nothing smaller than 1080x800, please. Contributors are responsible for assuring all images include correct provenancey. Pixabay, Pexels, and Unsplash offer free to use, keyword searchable images. Wikimedia Commons is another free image site. These sites conveniently offer the correct provenance with downloadable images.
Members retain full rights and ownership of their work. WE PAW Bloggers makes no claim nor copyright on writers’ stories. However, as always, members are asked not to post on their own blogs or publish elsewhere for at least one month after WE PAW publishes their byline issue for our ezine.
MEMBERS: Don’t forget you can push any of your Medium posts to our group publication at any time. If you’re on Medium, the pub is there for you. The publishing guide may always be found in the “Featured” section of our group page on Facebook.

This e-zine is an umbrella publication for members of the Facebook group of the same name. All writers for this publication are members of the group on Facebook. WE PAW Bloggers group is a writers forum — it is a family of writing creatives supporting one another through networking and reciprocal interaction on our journey of growth as writers.
