PAPER MONEY & ITS DECEPTIVE VALUE
We have become more reliant on paper currency to the point where the average man or woman lacks the drive to “literally” build for themself.
Let me explain:
There was a time where you would take tangible tools from the Earth and barter to “build” with them; wood, copper, nickel, iron, silver, gold (gold has more use than just being worn as an item), and rock (finding ways to shape it is key). These chemical elements, metals, and minerals have tangible value because we need them to live. Copper also helps heal the body by removing joint stiffness and inflammation. Since we were born from different places, some tools or instruments may not be accessible to every person…so that’s where alliances are made. More people knew how to build things from scratch and found it extremely important because it was the difference between living or surviving. Notice how I used the two terms living or surviving; to enjoy life and appreciate it, or just trying to make it to the next day. Have you ever truly thought how wasteful it is to destroy organic life (trees) to be used as currency? Organic life helps us breathe oxygen and remove carbon dioxide (harmful gasses) from the air. We already use trees to build homes and controlled fires to keep warm which is a given need; let’s end the desire to be destructive.
If we were truly trying to help one another there’s a possibility that coins could be used as wealth because you can mold them back to their truest form and use them to construct. One would argue that things are more civilized now, but all we have done is willingly surrender our ability to do for ourselves. What’s lacking is the know-how to be more constructive with our hands. That’s the deceptive part of it, we practically worship paper currency; it has no weight and its worth was made from thin air; we chose to go along with it because it’s easier. The easiest direction is not always the best route; some instances require challenges that will help us grow in the long run.
Like “The Matrix” (from the photo above…a very intellectual and action-packed movie), a veil has been put over our eyes to keep us from the truth; those that challenge the concept are made public enemy number one. Labor can exist without paper money because we need each other. We need farmers, sanitation workers, engineers, construction workers, security, and peace officers but there is a way to give back for their services without involving paper as payment. We could really help one another because having those different trades is the true worth. The true currency is the homes, the transportation, safety, and the ability to remove harmful waste. Just like when you’re introduced to things for the first time as a child, you think the regularity of your lifestyle is the proper way and there is no other option.
What’s mind-boggling is when we are given these monopoly dollars we buy fancy jewels and non-useful inanimate objects; displaying to the world additional ways of being wasteful. Having something to give whether it's art, entertainment, wisdom, or technical knowledge is valuable. At the very least let’s lose the paper money! That same effort to make paper money can be used to mine trade goods like the coins we carry in our pockets!
