Summary

The web content is a poetic reflection on the journey of life, depicted through the metaphor of paper boats sailing on a river, inspired by a poetry prompt.

Abstract

The article presents a poem titled "Paper boats," which uses the metaphor of sailing delicate vessels on a river to explore the passage of time and the unfolding of life's narratives. The poem speaks of truth, the quiet moments of existence, and the transformation of days into stories, much like the turning of pages in a book. It touches on the idea of life's journey being guided by unseen forces and the resilience required to navigate its course. The essence of being is likened to a boat crafted from an Amazon Prime Whole Foods bag, which endures the elements and is cultivated in the rich soil of experiences, until it reaches its final destination, the "farther shore." The piece is a creative response to the #Papyrus prompt by Suntonu Bhadra, acknowledging the inspiration drawn from this initiative.

Riding paper boats into eternity with a feather of truth at the helm the quiet waters that lick the river’s edge are mumbling spells while the days turn one after the other like the pages of a book stories blossom from a life gleaning a record from the reeds latitudes and longitudes cross over guiding the sails as they unfurl in the wind pounded by their time in the sun held together by the essence of being cultivated in rich soil hold fast until you reach that farther shore

Thank you Suntonu Bhadra for the wonderful prompt of #Papyrus! This is in response to #PPPPrompt #1. Incidentally, the boat is made from an Amazon Prime Whole Foods bag.
