But Who Created Pandora’s Box?

A shower thought-question turned poetry

Photo by Curology on Unsplash || side note: this stock photo IS SO CUTE and I’d like to believe that this lil guy opened all these boxes and out of all of them came hope and joy and mindfulness and all good things because I sure need some of those things right now

In Pandora’s box, she unleashed the world’s worst pains but also the coping mechanism: Hope.

She gets so much blame but do you ever wonder who created such a box?

And if you were in such a position to curate a collection, what would you store in this empty box?

Tagging: Fathiyah Zb | Dennett | Not quite Steve Fisher | Veronica Georgieva | Francine Fallara if you’re up to it and anyone else interested in today’s prompt: The origin story of a familiar story/myth.

Can’t wait to house some of these in The Brain is a Noodle! 🧠🍜

Lucy (The Eggcademic) [she/her] was that annoying kid who kept asking why and how and now she’s that annoying adult who keeps asking why and how, even for fictional things like the story of Pandora’s box. What’s next? Another piece from my brain noodle or read this piece about chronic pain from Emma Laver-Scott!
