Pandemic Call Centre Musings
So much more happened through the windows than on the phones.

Waiting, waiting, waiting.
A flush of nerves.
Waiting.
Green, brown, sandy hills
Strata clouds
white fluff atop,
dark below.
A circle of sunshine
goldens the sand.
Closer, the sparse
vans pass.
Amber tractor bulb,
a beacon on speed.
Dog and dad amble.
Sun’s rays crawl
white patches glow.
Family and bouncy
dog dash through
the scene.
Heart plummets!
Lost screen!
Someone might call.
Nose itches,
brush with sleeve.
Yes, a call!

Mist veils azure sky and gold sun
Clouds mist clouds shades of white
Pale blue shimmers through
