Palace of Seduction

A poem

The façade so salubrious Conceals the grim interior A grace so beguiling With a spirit so inferior.

The windows make suggestions Of a person so palatial But all permitted entry Find the living room is glacial.

A fire burns a little deeper To warm the bewitched guests The flames alleviate their worry And the host will do the rest.

A monolith of majesty A beacon of destruction Inviting all to enter The palace of seduction.

Inside high ceilinged corridors The guests remove their coats They are taken to the atrium Where her tongue moistens their throats.

Inside salacious chambers Her flesh is soon revealed She slides onto her lovers And then they all are killed.

A dash of cardioplegia Adds colour to her plate Deep within her palace They all realise too late.

Whilst the body is still warm Many turns are taken Each witch hungrier than the last The coven is awakened.

Hidden from the world outside Writhing flesh and wild eyes In the palace of seduction Until the blood runs dry.
