Pain

Pain for the soul is pain for the body and vice versa

I sucked in a breath full of hate. I drank water filled with lies. I swallowed a mouthful that cut me right in the heart and now it hurts.

My eyes barely opened, I had no strength. The poison in my veins was flowing, My friends, until yesterday, were kind but today they don’t care about me.

I stretched out my hands to the sun, I hoped it would grace me with a warm ray, but at that moment I wished to avoid the scorching rays filled with bile.

My hair touched the grass, my palms felt the dust. I felt so magical on Earth, that I forgot death in an instant.
