Overthinking and its effects on you
Who is suffering from overthinking?
Many people around us are suffering from overthinking. There could be many reasons behind the continuous flow of thoughts.
More often, the great observers fall into the pit of overthinking. They take things from numerous angles and find out different perspectives; as a result, they become a victim of overthinking.
I am also one of the over thinkers, that is why I am writing this story. In this story, I will share the effects of overthinking. You can say this story as personal observation.
What is overthinking?
“Overthinking is the continuation of disturbing thoughts that inhibits your mental abilities, such as decision making power and memory loss; thus results in depression” — Arbab Z.
Overthinking paralyzes brain activity, due to which the brain remains circulating over the same thing. It makes you futile and takes your potential. You continue to dwell on the disturbing thoughts.
I do agree with Jessica Foley. He says The hallmark of overthinking is that it is unproductive.
Almost everyone other person is suffering from overthinking. Some people overthink the past, some about the future, others about relationships, and the rest about dreams.
We often overthink the things where we do not get the solution to a problem, but it does not mean to keep thinking like an ass. One should take control over their thoughts before it becomes overthinking. Otherwise, overthinking will affect your life and snatch your mental peace. Then it would be difficult for you to come back.
Effects of overthinking.
Overthinking leads to the restlessness of the mind and continues the thought process, which causes headaches. Therefore, one should avoid overthinking. It is better for your mental health and life.
If you keep on overthinking, you will lose your mind. Your mind also starts spreading negative vibes, so there is a need to stop this overthinking before it takes your calmness.
You will also feel yourself lost in the world of loneliness.
Overthinking does affect your diet. Once you are focused on thinking, your mind forget about eating. In this way, you feel lower appetite and forget about eating. You just lose your healthy habits in overthinking.
