Our Sun’s Rays Warm a Cold Heart
A poem

The sun so quickly falling down on all these words up in my head of frantic foolish fleeting thoughts wish all of them to sleep instead be kind to everyone around.
Don’t let your mind get far ahead still wandering down afterthoughts. Walk down the path we’ll arrive at. Just like those times we untied knots. We grew together full of dread.
Green leaves unfold, roots grow in pots and poles extend completely flat. Once those so tightly wrapped were found in swaddling anger we’d laugh at. Sun shines. It helps some. I’d say, lots.
