Our Shades

Newly found beauty and revelation

As you are driven to be in the light you hardly see the shades of the darkness As you run into the shadow out of the bright you are blinded, so you perceive only whiteness

But your heart is in a right place,

all the gradations of tones, colors, and shadows become newly found beauty and revelation When you intently slow down to pause it’d emerge to free you for liberation

Whether it’s personal, or a larger collective picture, the more we become aware and finely tuned with other people’s existence and their concerns, the better and more mindful environment we live in.

Thank you Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她) for reading, publishing, and hosting this poem on your fabulous platform. At the beginning of my writing life on MEDIUM, you helped me tremendously. I’ve been always so grateful for your ever kind support.
