WRITING CHALLENGE/ADVICE/INSPIRATION

Cherish Your Relationships With Your Loved Ones

A single sentence or short prose challenge

I was inspired to take up this writing challenge after reading TzeLin Sam’s beautiful piece. This was an excellent activity to spark the imagination.

Here is my attempt at this challenge.

Our relationships with those we love are the most valuable thing in the world, and the best thing we can do for our loved ones is treasure them, express our love and appreciation for them, never take them for granted, and be there for them when they need us, because they could be here today but gone tomorrow; you never know when your next shared moment with them will be your last, so make the most of the time you have with them, show them you care, and make every day count.

Amanda Laughtland issued the challenge. Here is her piece that started it all:

Check out these other amazing pieces by Carolyn Hastings, Caroline de Braganza, and Denise Darby. Each of them has a distinct and amazing approach to the challenge.

Tagging other storytellers to try their hand at this fun challenge: pockett dessert, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, Victoria Gregg, Ellie Jacobson, and Gauri Sirur.
