Our Glowing Light
GiaB prompt 6: the moon

Moon, there you are illuminating, a striking body hanging in the sky, a huge glorious composite lighting up the darkness of the night.
Quarter, half or full, there you are, a picture in the sky. Watched, gazed upon, drawn, followed through a telescope or camera. Adored, admired, worshipped by millions across the world.
For centuries, we looked up to the skies, totally taken in by the mystery of you. A lucky few reaching out, touching, stepping onto your dusty grey floor, celebrating their success in setting foot on you. You, the beautiful, enigmatic entity who hangs gracefully among the stars.
