Ravyne Hawke’s Daily Special Poetry Prompt for December 4th
Onomatopoeia
Haiku series of the sights and sounds to a voyeur

Sitting at the bar Guinness, double Black Bush neat Slams whiskey past lips
Ahhh warmly exhales Squeeks stool over to window Closes eyes and hears
The gulp of the beer Soothing stomach and his nerves Snow crunch underfoot
Same sounds his tracks made just a few minutes before Face in bush hears too
The jester smiles wide Knowing his needs will be fed as wind chimes the snow
Crystals shimmering stars in the street lights shining Lovers sheltering
Under the train tracks The rumble from passing El she sees as his lips
Devour her neck Pressed against wall she opens Wham Bam Ahhh thanks sir
Meanwhile on the train Tom and Rebecca wondered Was that an echo?
Back outside cafe Jester cackles with delight Drinker enjoyed too
