One World
Poetry of life and times changing.
It isn’t that you were so alone.
It’s just that every thought, was on its own.
For every dusty mile, No one to speak or hope or smile.
Now the sea has found relief, in being calm. The sky is slow, and street doors locked.
No life appears, in a time of fear.
Once we had sunny folks to step outside, Drink their coffee, Live their lives, Run their shoes or spend some time.
With fading laughter and rhythms gone, The days seem rough, but still the sun, will finally address, The long road emptiness.
With new eyes to notice our abundant wealth, And wisdom revealing, The Light - ourselves
We may flow through any time, Feel the spirit evolve and shine.
While there’s ever growing wonder, in the swaying trees, Nature thriving out in her new-found peace.
And clearer skies of Summer blue, Lesser fear to fly on through.
So live out your values and discard the rest, Leave everything to ashes but your true kindness.
If you’re weary and some dreams are gone, You will find a better life, as you’re riding along.
Remember, Hold your head up high.
We’re all moving to a new song.
