One Voice and Heart
Being a writer, I’m grateful for the chance to meet diverse and skillful writers at Medium.
As a newbie at this platform, it was hard for my piece to get visible and read by many. Still, in Illumination, led by Dr. Mehmet Yildiz, I was given a chance to shine, and my writings were recognized.
It was an opportunity that every new writer dreamed of. I could say there’s hope for unhopeful newbie writers like me. But yesterday, when I got notified that the Illumination publication wasn’t working and couldn’t be accessed, my hope shuttered. What happens? It’s a gloomy day in the Illumination community.
As one of the editors and writers at Illumination, my heart goes out. The publication was our pillar and hope. It was our Medium of exposure since other publications aren’t as welcoming as Illumination. I don’t resent any other publications, but Illumination was the only outlet backing us to increase visibility and prompted exposure.
Dr. Mehmet Yildiz intends to help as many writers as possible through Illumination, but what if the publication is down? I’m writing and striving that Medium will hear my voice. I feel the pain of how Dr. Yildiz was shoved and his reputation was ruined.
Illumination has one goal — to help as numerous writers as possible. I think Dr. Yildiz doesn’t deserve the harassment. I know the Medium Staff will listen and understand us for the betterment of the readers and the writers.
As per Dr. Mehmet Yildiz, he did not block any writer from his list of followers. His account is suspended, and his publication is down; therefore, you cannot add your articles to the publication.
We are here for Illumination to rise again with one voice and heart.
