Don’t underestimate the importance of your Medium profile page.

While the majority of readers will find your posts through Medium’s algorithm, either through curation or via the recommended sections, some of those readers will jump to your profile page if they enjoy what they read.

I’m one of those readers.

I check profile pages quite often. Here’s the one thing that always bugs me when looking at individual profiles.

Pinned posts.

Not one, but multiple pinned posts. This is annoying. Sorry.

One pinned post is fine. But 3, or 4, or 5, that’s too much. I want to see your recent posts. Not the same 5 posts over and over again, every time I visit your profile.
