One Thing I Love and Absolutely Hate about Medium
I’m sure many of you will agree with me.

Thousands of writers on Medium write tons of great and interesting articles every day.
Millions of readers are presented with unique and fascinating articles that you could never read on any other platform.
It is an incredible prospect.
I could compose a list of pros and cons about Medium, but that would take too long, and I don’t want to waste your time.
I would instead sum it up into One thing I Love and Hate about Medium.
One thing I love
I love how simple the platform presents itself for new writers. You don’t need to submit your resume or schedule an interview to join Medium; anyone can join the community and start writing articles.
In addition to that, you don’t even need to pay a membership fee to start writing on Medium. It is entirely optional!
However, I would recommend getting a Medium membership to read various articles and write for many publications on Medium.
One thing I hate
I hate writers on Medium who write for their own benefit.
In other words, writers who publish their own articles, but don’t read nor acknowledge the many other articles on the platform.
Like, come on, why?
It is outrageous!
I understand that you want to grow as a writer and share your experiences with the readers of Medium, but so does everyone else. Many articles on Medium that deserve more views turn out to have fewer views and claps.
Everyone on Medium should be treated equally. All of us are working hard to publish these articles. I ask that you support the many Medium writers and inspire them to publish more articles on Medium. They deserve it!

Recently, I applied to Haven to become a writer for the publication. I got accepted as a writer, but I was sad to read the other half of the email. I read over 20 articles on Haven over the past week, and I thought they were outstanding and funny.
I understand that we are all busy people. But like I said before, think about everyone else before you start making excuses!
Reading through the many articles on Haven, I was more than satisfied with the experience. I thank Haven for accepting me as a writer and sending this message to support many writers on Medium.
By no means am I saying that every article on Medium should go viral. That would be impossible. I am conveying that writers deserve more support from the members of Medium. Trust me, that one clap, comment, or even view, can make a writer’s day!
