Have you ever heard of José María Velasco?

Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit the town center of Toluca and I was amazed at how easy it is for us to forget the cultural gifts we have. That is why when I saw his museum, I immediately went in.

The works of art of this famous Mexican are considered national heritage and do you know why? He is considered one of the most important artists of the XIX century because he was able to capture the vast landscape of the State of Mexico and its surroundings with his beautiful paintings.

The essence of his paintings boosted the country’s sense of belonging while also creating international fame.

A very important artist always has to have an empowering statue just like his!
