One Month on Medium — 36 Articles!
My first month giving my all to this community
One month has already passed by so quickly! I cannot believe it but time flies, and more if you are having fun.
I have to admit that I have been spending much more time on this platform than I had intended to. Medium is already a loved hobby but I also have to do work and so much more. I have seen myself reading tons of articles instead of beginning or finishing a project. How irresponsible, right? NOW I have specific schedules so I can organize my time better. I have to confess that it was because of the excitement of joining this new community which I still have.
Balancing time is key and as many here have shared, writing at your own time can increase the quality of your pieces.
I have had the opportunity to write about various topics…Can one person have many go-to niches?
You can find from poems to essays throughout my profile and I would like to share some pieces:
- This is an article about how the movie Bird Box made me rediscover the difficulties blind people and let alone people with other disabilities have. The world is full of spatial discrimination.
- I have also recently begun to submit pieces in Spanish and I would like to share one which has gained the highest appreciation. I have not seen many Spanish publications but I still want to share my passion in my native language. Thanks to Antonio Molleda for letting me achieve this.
- Still loving this piece even though it has the least interaction.
- The following shortform has gained much love. It’s about family relationships, which can be so peaceful but also so tedious to maintain. Thanks to Trista Signe Ainsworth who has given me pointers so I can improve piece by piece.
- This is a story in which I shared one of my deepest feelings. It’s an article that I truly hope can help others. It was a piece I submitted for the MWC Death Challenge and thanks to TC Hails who let me publish it in Cultured.

And with the creation of articles…comes the interactions.
Just to think that I have had 800 reads throughout my articles is still unbelievable to me! Here comes a sense of responsibility to ALWAYS deliver my best.
I have learned so much about writing and let alone, learned how to express myself. Hopefully, this is just the beginning and I will get to know more and more people here. There are literally people from dozens of countries with so many topics to share! Writing is truly an art form.
Let’s keep writing and sharing!
This article of self-motivation was inspired by a similar one done by Allison Cecile. She just passed the 1000 followers milestone! If you’d like to read about her journey, here is the following link:
Thank you for reading! If you like short forms, poems, essays, and all types of writings, I invite you to check out my profile Sharing Randomly.
