One idea, One success
How did some of the most successful people climb to their throne?
When you look upon the success of some of the most frugal people on earth, you often wonder many different things about them. You think about what they have done to achieve the lifestyle that they are able to live. Perhaps you wonder about the stress that they’ve had to endure throughout their endeavors and how much strain it put upon them. Or maybe you wonder if they are even able to enjoy their lifestyle at all, being that they often work seven days each week.
Some people may even look at them with envy wanting to be them and live as they do. They look at them with disdain, and their jealousy may even cause them to loathe them. What infuriates them the most is when they make a post on social media that goes viral, or when they make the news headlines about another idea they came up with. Everyone has so many different visualizations on the successes that these individuals achieved.
But whether their upbringing was difficult, their business in financial disorder, or even their personal life declining, these individuals still achieved success. And though the situations were all different, they do share one thing in common with each other. They all had one idea, that single-handedly led to their success.
Consider the billionaire Bill Gates, and how he became one of the most famous individuals of all. He knew that he could help revolutionize the world with the innovations of technology. The globe had just exited a century filled with warfare, and it was time for countries to settle, and begin optimizing their markets. But even with these new ideals among our nations, it would still be easier said than actually done. So then came Bill, who jump-started the revolution.
He began in 1975 in college, when he and his friend began developing software for micro-computers. They programmed these to develop a whole language for larger systems that would then help contribute to optimal attributes out of touch systems. Him and his friend loved technology and intended to enter into a field that no one had ever dared to consider before. And it all just continued to grow from a single idea to a major success.
He founded Microsoft, which is now one of the leading technology companies across the world. The very browser that I am operating on while writing this is one of their latest developments in fact. Microsoft’s success has now reached every single corner of the world from the most advanced cities to even small villages. Now Bill Gates spends most of his time donating to various charities or helping impoverished nations with basic amenities that they need.
From the idea of Micro-computers, to a Macro-success
But let’s be honest, we already know about Bill Gates and his achievements. Now let me refer to our well-known T.V. personality and the very voice of food itself, Gordon Ramsay. He grew up in a very tough household, with an abusive father who he never felt safe around. It didn’t help that his living circumstances were on the lower-class spectrum either, so this only made success even harder. So, Ramsay pondered exactly what he wanted to do for quite some time, and his uncertainty only grew when he realized he couldn’t achieve his dreams through his first love of football.
So, instead, he took to the kitchen of a restaurant, where he worked under a vicious head chef. He was often working both the front and back of the house in the restaurant, from working as a server to washing dishes. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the head chef would often scream at him and lecture him about how he would never be good enough. At one point, Ramsay had broken down crying in the ultimate state of sadness from working in the kitchen. But in spite of the pain and suffering he endured, he also found his love for food, which became his entrepreneurial idea for success.
He has since, opened restaurants across the world and achieved numerous Michelin stars solidifying his food quality. And if he isn’t in the kitchen, then he’s busy filming another season of his hit show, Hell’s Kitchen. Or perhaps he’s in another country cooking food for the locals and using only the resources of the land. He’s able to do virtually anything simply because he followed his passion for food. Just the idea of food, led Ramsay down a glorified path of success.
The idea of food brought a platter of success
You see it all starts with just one idea for people, and it can be completely different from that of others. While your friends and others around you may find inspiration out of medicine, you may instead want to pursue marketing. And who knows? You may come up with a great product, market it, and lead yourself down a pathway of success and riches beyond what you thought was possible. Or maybe you don’t come up with a product at all, but instead start a marketing firm and make your success out of marketing products for others.
It all starts with an idea, and as long as you stay true to it, it will lead you down a path to success.
