One hour of Deep Sleep

Short Form prompt: Is you had one extra hour?

If I had an extra hour, I’d just sleep to cover the overdue sleeping hours of my life. Decades of sleepless nights to get into the right school and get degrees resulted in more sleepless nights doing research, writing, and editing. When the lady luck showed her magic to transition me into a working adult, the sleeping hours were drastically reduced to plan lessons, prepare lectures, and grade papers. When I completed a quarter on this great planet, two magnificent bundles of joy within thirteen months ushered bouts of insomnia. Both of them have flown from the nest, but the uninvited guest Ms. Insomnia refuses to say goodbye and creatively occupies the calming section of my brain.

Now I only crave a deep, peaceful sleep. If the universe is paying attention, then please cancel all other materialistic paraphernalia appeals and just sanction one hour of sleep in my scheduled calendar. I want to sleep to dream about an ideal way I could have spent my life, backpacking around South America and meeting my soulmate in Machu Picchu, blessed by the mighty Andes.
