I followed footsteps and got lost, I listened for your voice and no song answered back, how can I find you now, where have your hugs melted, are you gone for a while, will you come back or stay in other worlds you make yours as I think of you and what we had?

I wish there was a bridge to link what was with now, I need to tell you I feel different when you’re not here, I’m not the one I used to see in mirrors.

Having you by my side is more than gifts or songs it’s part of me and who I am, the one I recognize when I feel happy.

The breeze comes tapping on the window, I recognize the whisper from now or long ago, the wind is still the same, faithful friend, ready to ride out wishes, bring back joy missing from one lost heart, smile was gone in a wave of sadness and confusion.

I tell the wind of you, it still remembers how we were I feel the breeze touching my face, there is a promise I can have and keep I will go where the wind takes me, a love too young to grow on silver wings needing protection, I take the leap will faith lead me back in your arms?
