On Democratic Socialism
A story of a form of Government many people wish we had. Many, not by what they say but by the way they express their wishes for a government. However, many do not go beyond the veneer of their knowledge to decide.

This is to “integrate” several thoughts, depending on what we “google” and try to explain where we are. “The Democratic Republic” story will follow this one.
Many of the original thinkers of socialism, like George Bernard Shaw and others (Britannica), thought in terms of “humanity,” an elevation of people for the cognizant, rational animals we are, indicating the conglomerate of people and its potential. The only distinction made by Socialists about people is that we are “Social, and thus we work in cooperation with one another.” However, “cooperation” is not where it ends.
Britannica — Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels made this point in Manifesto of the Communist Party (1848) when they proclaimed that in a socialist society, “the condition for the free development of each is the free development of all.”
Today, people who think they are very sophisticated get together to discuss socialism under the name of the “World Economic Forum.” and this is for the entire World. It is a plan on how to swallow “the people” with one gigantic whale of a system based on the control of the economy.
America’s “Democratic Socialism (DS)” is a generic term where people are really looking for a “socialist economy.” To have a social economy indicates ownership of all the businesses by the people.
In DS, the people are collective owners of businesses. To do this, they also have to have a form of government (TBD) to regulate the “economy.” This is a government in which workers and government have more control over the means of production and distribution of goods. The devil is in the details.
With Democratic Socialism, capitalism does not drive the market because private ownership of goods and services no longer exists. The market is driven by consumption around the world. Now, the people are dependent on a “fair government.” What structure does that government have? (TBD)
Communism is an advanced form of socialism. One step further turns the government into a communist government where “property” is added to the mix, and the government now owns all the property of the Nation and organizes the “communal” control of the means of production and labor for the “common good of the people.”
If the government owns all the basis of wealth, how does it differentiate people’s capacity for the advancement of its society? And what is the motivation for the people with high potential to bring that potential to fruit for the “good of all?”
Britannica — Exactly how communism differs from socialism has long been a matter of debate. Karl Marx used the terms interchangeably. For many, however, the difference can be seen in the two phases of communism as outlined by Marx.
The experiment was tried and eventually failed in Russia. China today has a form of what could be called “flexible-soft communism.” Where an “intelligent” government is willing to take advantage of “some” meritocracy in order to infuse a growing economy. This has allowed China to become the “Manufacturer for the world.”
Call it a “flexible-soft” economy because, as we saw during the pandemic, China “nailed” doors shut, and whole blocks of people were barricaded to stop the spread of the virus. At that point, it became pure communism. Some can die for the good of the greater society.

Socialism and communism are contrary to capitalism. Capitalism is a pure meritocracy. Bartering made standard by creating a “unitary monetary system.” The demand and supply determine how many units of money goods cost.
The System We Have
At the base of Capitalism is YOU — you utilizing your potential to create a marketable product, whether material or intellectual. Something that the existing market needs or something the market does not even know exists.
YOU are in charge of your destiny. YOU decide what to do with yourself. Our “Moral Law (The Declaration of Independence) is what makes man honorable in our system.

The Logic
“A” is the very base of our “Moral Law” — at the bottom of the logic tree is the basis for the Declaration of Our Independence. These are: 1. The Laws of Nature — we have been free to roam the world throughout our existence and barter based on our work (the “King” would not let us); 2. The Laws of God — As opposed to the “Divine Right of Kings,” applies to We, “the people,” and to ALL Humanity, and the reasoning is in the Logic levels “B, C, E” to arrive at our concluding thought “We Declare we are an Independent Nation.”
Our “System of Government” is explained in the Story Titled “We Have a Democratic Republic.”

NOT THE END.
