Oh, Why?
a poem

Why, oh why, Does a songbird fly?
Why, oh why, Is a mouse so shy?
Why, oh why, Do the clouds float by?
Why, oh why, Is there blue in the sky?
Why, oh why, Is a desert so dry?
Why, oh why, Is the moon so high?
Why, oh why, Don’t some people cry?
Why, oh why, Do other people lie?
Why, oh why, Does boredom make you sigh?
Why, oh why, Is to look, to eye?
Why, oh why, Is to tether, to tie?
Why, oh why, Is my pronoun, I?
Why, oh why, Oh, why?
