the sweetness in you takes me back long when i didn’t have enough of you the sweetness i craved for the sweetness i looked for

but now i know you in and out savouring your sweetness in all the places you hide in a cookie or a muffin in a brownie or a cake and how to forget the pie

oh you tease me with a tart you tempt me with a bun but where i get weak and you bring me to my knees is when you are dressed as a simple hot bread

coming out the oven still carrying the fire in you and the sweetness of love that baker has loaded in you

oh you know i can survive just on you
