Oh, Palestine
A Poem for Peace

Oh, Palestine, it could be free
A place of peace for you and me
But still, the bombs rain down
A child’s cry completely drowned
Fire rains from the sky
It’s time that we ask why
Why have we not learned from our past?
No more bombs, their time is past
The sun must shine, and peace must reign
Must we repeat this over and over again?
In every land and every place
We must become the human race
A child cries, and a child dies
As we weave a tangled web of lies
Count that cash and all those beans
Feed the blood into the war machine
