Six Word Photo Story Challenge: Freestyle

Oh, dear. Did I interrupt something?

Mourning doves puff up their feathers when regulating body temperature in cold weather — and when mating.

I didn’t stick around to see what happened next, but I can say it was above sixty degrees and humid that evening.

About a year ago I had an interesting experience with another pair of mourning doves. They have interesting behaviors!
