A Twittle—

We’ve received your conditions; by these rules, you may exist — Foremost, you remain an illusion. Secondly, on ‘Get out’, we insist.

Thank you, Carolyn Hastings, for inspiring me with your thirteen twittle story about twittles!!

Only, I’ve failed to match your vibrant and youthful energy, and therefore we have only a single twittle to appreciate from me this night. Some might suspect from looking at it that it was never even completed; I say there’s no rule against suddenly concluding a piece on the second point!! Though, truth be told, I couldn’t find a fitting word to mean ‘finally’. ‘Tis all. It’s a tight character count, I was attached to what I had, and I figured rationalizing works just fine half the time— to my doubters, I say to please send your qualms to— oh wait, I don’t care? This day, once more, I am useless to you.

Please, go.

Go—

Actually, also, thank you, augmented man, for accepting me, always, into your most wonderful publication, The Power of Poetry. It’s been a remarkable journey, and I look forward to publishing with you all the more.

Now, to produce another stanza, wishing you a good day and night.

Or two, to add it’s different this time.
