Ode to a Blonde Badass
“Come to me, Helen Hunt”

I’ve watched you, oh these many years emote with heart and fire…
There’s a reason why I’m writing this, there’s something I desire…
No doubt, you think me crazy, a stalker or something even direr…
I’m not, I swear, I’m just a screenwriter albeit a bit of a live wire…
I wrote a script, it’s bloody great, too good for a “no-name” to acquire…
As I wrote and bled you came to mind and I knew you could take it higher…
Your agent won’t give me the time of day so please don’t tell me to enquire…
“The Month We Fell Apart” is primed and ready to go, there’s just one thing I require…
Helen, although you’ll probably never see this, I have to ask, would you kindly read my script? Like you, it kicks ass.
