POEM

O, Those Memories

We feed on them

Photo by Yusuf Evli on Unsplash

I find in my eye a tear that sticks to it like glitter to the hair; maybe it calls upon my sadness to reveal itself to my cheeks, and gnaws at my nostrils or does it know it is just a passenger like a thought full of past moments that draws from the memories of things that are no longer, but wish and hope will be again one day— Maybe.

inspired by the following prompt written and done by Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她), in her poem:

and invited by Sharing Randomly, in the poem:

I would like to tag: Kyomi O'Connor, Penelope Mayfield, Donna L Roberts, PhD (Psych Pstuff), Donnette Anglin, Susannah MacKinnie, Arbab Z. I hope you’ll have fun sharing some of your memories in this prompt with us. and please remember to tag us.

Thank you for reading!
