NVIDIA’s Omniverse is a game-changer
The technology that will change how we work and live

NVIDIA has been in news article after news article due to its explosive growth. Currently, the company is advertised as an AI company; however, that does not do it justice. The two revenue primary sectors:
- Graphics — GeForce GPU for gaming and PCs, GeForce NOW, Quadro/NVIDIA RTX GPUs, vGPU software for cloud-based visual and virtual computing, and automotive platforms for infotainment systems.¹
- Compute and Networking — Data Center platforms, high-performance computing, accelerated computing, Mellanox networking, interconnected solutions, automotive AI Cockpit, autonomous driving development agreements, autonomous vehicle solutions, and Jetson for robotics and other embedded platforms.¹
However, the technology I have my eye on is NVIDIA Omniverse, which can completely change how people work and live in the digital environment.
What is NVIDIA Omniverse?
Imagine a playground where you can collaborate with others much like a Google Sheet; however, instead of writing information into a Google Sheet, you are working with 3D objects or models in real-time. That means a game designer could be creating an environment with trees and terrain while another person is architecting a build that a player would need to enter. However, even outside the typical example of gaming, you can also utilize it in architecture, car design, simulating traffic, and more.
