How To Nurture A Mindset of Success
Success means different things to different people. But the strategies to achieving it are similar.

People succeed because they set their minds for success. And success means different things to different people. We are well acquainted with socially prescribed ideas of success such as position, power, and prestige — the high-paying job, the luxury vehicle, and the big house.
But your idea of success could be good health and great relationships — time for things that align with what you value-travel, adventure, and peace of mind. Regardless of how you define success, the tools to achieve it will be similar.
I am not restricting my definition of success to financial success. Even in relationships, half of all marriages in North America end up in divorce. And while most people desire peace of mind, few achieve it. Regardless of how you define success, it’s only the minority that reaches it.
Once you know what you want to achieve in life, the next step is to create a strategy to achieve and maintain it.
Believe in yourself.
There are plenty of skeptics around. There will be people who will tell you in many different ways that success is not possible- whether it be in your attempt to improve your significant troubled relationships, maintain peace of mind or launch a business. The first thing you need to achieve anything in life is to believe in yourself.
Misery loves company. Distance yourself from people who are not supportive of your success. Many of them fear your new way of being may not include them.
Your new life-a healthier relationship, greater self-awareness, a better body-will result in you attracting new friends. People of a similar vibration. Attract them instead!
Be Relentless.
You have to be consistent. You cannot think of doing something one day with the utmost zeal and then forget all about it the next day. You have to pursue your goals to succeed. It requires discipline and a conscious effort towards the goal. Success might be slow, but don’t let that stop you.
Have a written plan.
Wishing for things to come to you will not work without you taking action. Create a plan on how you’d like to achieve the success you desire. If it’s a successful relationship you want, then take action to achieve it. Get advice from a relationship therapist, spend time with your partner, schedule date nights.
Acknowledge Your Achievements.
However small they might be, acknowledge and celebrate your achievements along the way. Soak it in and milk it! It’s a great way to attract more things to celebrate.
Surround yourself with like-minded people.
You are the average of the five people closest to you. Think about it. If you want to elevate, you need to surround yourself with people who are elevated. If you want to achieve something in life, learn from the pros. If you want a healthy relationship, surround yourself with people in healthy relationships.
If you want a better body surround yourself with people with healthy bodies. Read about other people who have succeeded. Please pay special attention to how they overcame their attention to along the way.
Bringing It All Together.
Achieving what matters most to you whether it be deeper relationships, improved health, or greater abundance-will bring greater fulfillment in your life.
But success is not random. It requires a belief that you can achieve whatever you set your mind to accomplish. That coupled with dedication and discipline. And, finally daily actions in support of that goal.
