November Musings, Flowing Into Winter Thoughts
In November, self-reflection became as common as purple sunrises. There was gratitude for natural spaces and bonfire nights.
By surrounding myself with those who graciously shared their wisdom and guidance, the month overflowed with unexpected gifts and blessings.
“Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.” ~ Edmund Lee

№ 44. mirror image, get reflective —
All are comfortably asleep in their dream worlds as I wrap my bathrobe tighter around me and tiptoe down the stairs.
In quiet anticipation of the sun’s ascent, I stand by the glass wall, waiting for the Belt of Venus to paint the sky with a pinkish band.
The windows become mirrors, reflecting the serene pinks, purples, and dark silhouettes of trees.
My sunrise dance meditation begins by hand-drawing the Reiki symbol, Cho Ku Rei, in the air to create my sacred space.
The soothing notes of instrumental music guide my body into a free-flowing dance. With each movement, I am mindful of the nuanced feedback my body returns to me.
At sunrise, every gentle sway and stretch refills my wellness of being.

№ 45. in my life an exclamation mark! —
On the wall, a vibrant rainbow exclamation mark appears. A gentle nudge to practice self-kindness as the hustle and bustle of the holiday season begins.
“It’s okay if you don’t want to. You get to say, No. It's okay to do something differently. Just being yourself is always enough. You are never too much. Take all the time you need. How does your body feel about that? You don’t need to accept what doesn’t feel right.” — Tutu Mora

№ 46 purple haze deep connections, soul friends
—
During an afternoon walk, a purple haze of wildflowers brings to mind the purple-hearted souls I have met.
Anam Cara Celtic (n.) anam means soul, cara means friend, someone who is your soul friend.
Of all the 8.1 billion people in the world, how many do you share a deep connection call a soul friend, soul mate?
“A true soulmate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your attention so you can change your life.” — Elizabeth Gilbert

№ 47 this must be the place daisy muse —
Nature’s voice is a constant muse, fuels my creativity and stirs my soul, where I find pure bliss unlike any other place, a refreshing change of pace, instant mood changer, stress-melting solution, a reset button for every day.

№ 48 in the heat of the night fires burning —
Despite the chilly night, wind, snow, a blazing bonfire drew us closer and with each kiss, tender touch sparked heat in the night.
