November is National Family Engagement Month
It is a special time that honors parenting and education.
One year ago today I shared the short form post below to inform people of National Family Engagement Month.
As a family engagement influencer, I primarily write stories about the unified role parents and educators play in the life of students. The definition I developed that describes family engagement follows.
“It refers to the mutual dedication, cooperation, and support parents and caregivers share with educators as students receive their education.”
I also create content that highlights the role parents play in the home to engage with their children more authentically.
All of these things reflect positive relationships that contribute to the overall growth and development of infants, children, and young people everywhere.
It should not take a thematic month to highlight the importance of family engagement. Therefore, I would like to share some of my content that continues to positively impact parents and their children along with educators and their students.
