November Collaborative Prompts Announcement
Buckle up your seatbelts — we have an intense month ahead!

November is a tricky month which represents transition — the final stages of one’s life, as winter (hibernation, death) slowly approaches. November is by far my favorite month, so it should come as no surprise that I left the best for the last. We will celebrate the end of Autumn in glorious ways, with some really intense prompts on spiritual opposing views!
If you’ve been following our Spooktober posts, you probably know what the collaborative prompts are all about. If you haven’t, please allow me to explain:
We’ve formed four pairs of active writers and encouraged them to write articles on opposing views by exchanging ideas, thoughts, beliefs and integrating them into their piece. They worked together using Slack, where each pair discussed the assigned view using a private channel and then submitted their article to be published and pinned at the top of the publication for one week, starting November the 1st. Here are our eight brave heroes and the opposing views they had to tackle:
Week 1: Joseph Lieungh & Frank Ontario: “Death is merely a change in form” vs. “Death is the final ending”
Week 2: Maurice Mourabe & Peter Wright Storytelling: “Our thoughts create reality” vs. “Reality is facts, thoughts are fantasy”
Week 3: Ravyne Hawke & Yan Huang: “Love can change the world” vs. “A false belief in love can destroy the world”
Week 4: Francesca Dallaglio & jules: “Suffering is a great teacher for enlightenment” vs. “Suffering is unnecessary and only serves the purposes of the negative forces”
As you can see, this collaborative project differs greatly from anything we’ve done before —definitely not your usual KTHT prompts. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t join in on the fun! If any of these topics resonate/intrigue you, write an article and submit it to us or any other publication (just make sure you tag us so that we don’t miss it).
Also, your feedback would be highly appreciated! Please let us know if you’d like to see more of this type of projects in the future. They build a stronger sense of community and allow us to navigate the unknown/different opinions graciously.
Looking forward to November! Until then, have a marvelous week and the spookiest Halloween party ever. I’ll make sure to bring my broomstick and witchy brew. 🎃
