sometimes I write shitty poems, not Poems with a capital P, not something you might publish in some fancy anthology.

sometimes, I write shitty poems, not because it’s Art, but because there is something I needed to unleash from my heart.

so sure, please feel free to comment all you want that my poetry is not real poetry, feel free to gatekeep this form,

but remember that though I write for many, to connect stories untold, to express emotions hidden under shame, I do not write for you and your snobby ass rules about what constitutes a real story, a real poem, or who is allowed to be called a poet.

Poetry Prompt: Talk about something where lower case noun is different from upper case Noun. Contrast the context for both and how their meanings might be different.
