Nothing Alive is Alien to Me
In the wake of the present times we need to transcend our small worlds
Terence said, “Homo sum, humani nihil a me alienum puto”, — “I am human, and I think nothing human is alien to me.”
I want to stretch that wisdom and say: I am alive. Therefore nothing alive is alien to me.
Everything I witness on earth and everything I am is a sacred expression of the earth.
Birds
Clouds
Humans
Plants
Animals
Winds
United in not knowing anything about the why’s and how’s of life
We drink the same water
We come from stardust
The plants, the elements
We are the animals, the trees, the black holes, the planets
I am what is the tree
I am what is within you
I am that I am
I am the sacred expression of the earth
The earth is the sacred expression of the universe
The universe is.
Nothing alive can be alien to me
Everything I see, I also have in me
The sea, every bee
The power of water
The power of wind
The power of earth
The power of fire
The power of spirit
The power is in me
The power I see in hurricanes
The power of the old and new
The power of death
The power of radiation
The power of bushfires
The weakness of torture
The shame
The loneliness of stigmas
The fear of the unknown
The hatred
The genocides
The faintness of rape
Everything is part of me
I am the ocean
I am infinite space
I am the wave
I am the meridian
I am the slave
I am the forest
I am winter
I am the thunderstorm
I am the virus
I am the confusion
I am the delusion
I am the cancer
I am the flower
I am the seed
I am destruction
I am birth
I am hunger
I am trust
I am greed
I am pleasure
I am prison
I am ideology
I am all the -isms
I am the revolt
I am war
I am sound
I am walls
I am the caged bird
I am the black hole
I am agony
I am irreplaceable
I am alive
Nothing alive is alien to me.
