No Such Thing As Ugly
Finding the pearl
There is no such thing as ‘ugly.’ Ugly is a judgment.
Beauty can also be used as a judgment, in fact that is how we normally see beauty. But there is a different kind of beauty; one completely free of judgment. It is the beauty that underlies all things, including our selves. It is the beauty of life. We have covered everything with layers of judgments but underneath those judgments is a pearl of beauty that is the life spark we and everything was created with.
We cannot see this life spark of beauty. We can only feel it. When we see with our eyes we have been conditioned since birth to immediately make a judgment and these judgments obscure the pearl of beauty.
Judgment is polarizing and it keeps us in density. In judgment everything is either/or. Everything is either good or bad, ugly or pretty, left or right, hot or cold, black or white, acceptable or unacceptable, powerful or weak, rich or poor, male or female, etc.
We get these judgments from conditioning by our parents and family, from our education, from media and from society at large. We get them from the collective judgments of mass consciousness.
From birth we are told that we are not beautiful unless we fit the criteria of mass judgments. Women must look a certain way to be considered beautiful and men must look a different certain way. To be considered a beautiful person you must look a certain way, think a certain way, behave a certain way; all determined by collective mass judgments that are constantly reinforced by the collective mass consciousness of society.
And if we do not meet that criteria of judgments then we are ugly or bad. Most people do not fit all the societal criteria so are therefore constantly being judged as ugly or bad or weak or stupid. Being judged this way all our lives we start believing it and reinforce it through self-judgment.
And when we judge ourselves we can no longer see the pearl of beauty within us. We also project our self-judgments out towards others and can no longer see the pearl of true beauty in them. Judgment feeds on itself and multiplies like cancer.
Soon we are automatically judging everything and everyone we come into contact with and suddenly the true beauty underlying all things is lost to us. We can no longer feel it because we are too busy judging.
Our judgments keep us separated from other people, our environment and our selves. Stuck in the divisive density of judgment, joy drains from our lives and the pearls of true beauty cannot fuel us, inspire us or shine forth from us.
If we can dissolve our many self-judgments and stop accepting the judgments of others we can discover and reconnect with the pearl of true beauty at the very core of our being. When this happens our lives transform and our true beauty radiates outward touching everyone. (This is called abundance.) People will feel it despite their many layers of judgment. It is that powerful.
While judgment spreads like cancer, true non-judgmental beauty does not have to spread. It is already everywhere. There is divine beauty in everyone and everything. We just can’t feel it because of our judgments.
