A poem of compassion

You don’t have to drink all the time.

As you are a light in the world and they are so blind.

You are special right here on the earth, and you don’t have to sum up your worth I love you the same.

As before when you lived in a smile, When hope was so real It was kind

And there was no game.

You don’t have to care all the time, We do not sign up for this life

And there is no shame.
