To Stand Out, We Have To Be Trying Not To Fit In Consistently

When it comes to writing, I love being “tri-dimensional,” which, in this case, means having at least three ways to use words. Here’s an example: I can create great acronyms, I can have them represent human beings, and, I can combine the right ones to have the finished product help change a condition for the better.

In a versatile world, we must exercise versatility or risk becoming average, and lost in a sea of everyday people. To stand out, we have to be trying not to fit in, consistently. We’re all different, but this is what makes us most the same. When it comes to creativity, we were meant to break the rules and repair them to our liking. How exciting would conversations be if everyone had the same story to tell? Our uniqueness is our appeal because curiosity has a hunger to know everything it doesn’t.

So, always be a rebel when you write, put pen to paper, and let it run wild and free. Do what you feel, feel what you do, and by all means, love every damn second of it. When we possess a carefree mentality, magic happens, and what person in existence doesn’t enjoy great magic, especially when it’s real.

Fellow writers of Medium, I’m relatively new here (10 months), but since my arrival, I’ve been made to feel as if I’ve been here since day one. Usually, so much talent under one roof would equate to feelings of intimidation and competitiveness, but not here.
