No More Stories: How to Stop Repeating the Same ol’ Story, Part 2 of 3

Our environment has an effect upon us no matter how aware we are, or may think we are. We are all connected; we are dependent to a certain extent, on the collective awareness of our time — energetically speaking.
We ourselves get to expand evermore as Spiritual be-ings, as our brothers and sisters are doing just that in themSelves! As individuals, it helps us to expand in Self, as each and every one of us participates in such inward/outward action. No one is an island, in other words. To be the best that we can be, it is good to surround ourselves with those who are also actively working to be the best that they can be.
If we are online today on any level, we are ever so constantly bombarded with messages that tell us how to look, what to want, what to buy, etc. All this as paired with being desirable, and with having ‘value’ in the world’s eyes — mainly, it is to get us to buy things that we don’t really need. In time, perhaps we will shift to a point where the focus of such marketing is truly on our collective well-being, rather than on making money. While money is energy, and there is purpose for it in the world as it is now, it is our focus all in all, that is what brings to us whatever it is that we are currently seeing and experiencing in our world.
If we focus on what we love, and not on profit — and move from there — the money comes, especially if what we are doing and how we are focused is not simply about self and our personal wants alone. Money is not evil, it is simply energy, it is what comes with money, i.e., what it serves in teaching us about ourselves that can be the challenge.
Abundance is. Look around to see what it is that you have an abundance of in your life right now. If it is not something that you wish to have an abundance of, look to ways to shift your focus so that it is on what you do wish to have an abundance of. Think, for example, of qualities that you wish to develop.
What we are being fed via these mass marketing campaigns (in the U.S. anyways) is that in order to be a valuable member of society, or to have value as a human, we must have that new SUV, the ‘perfect’ wife/husband/partner, that flat screen T.V., a nicely decorated home, a flashy title, we must go to all of the ‘in’ restaurants and watch (insert name of whatever is popular on television right now). In themselves, there is nothing inherently wrong with any of these ‘things,’ they are simply what each Soul is choosing to learn about in the now. However, we can become so hypnotized by the media that we don’t realize how deeply it may be affecting us as a collective, and as individuals. Look around and pay heed.
This is not to say that those good ol’ posh restaurants, or those nice threads are to be avoided — I certainly dig me some good ‘outside the home grubbin’ from time to time, and though I haven’t bought new clothes in a long time, they’re cool. It is to say — let’s remember to pay heed to what truly matters as we make our decisions every day. Life can be made much simpler, and it also becomes much more enjoyable as we take these things into consideration. There are always other choices that we can be making in each and every moment. For example, if we go to those posh-restaurants a few times a week, why not stay in one night a week, and give that money to those who need food, housing and/or water? There is such magic in these small actions; it keeps things flowing. Nothing material lasts too long in this 3-D world when we do not take such things as others into consideration along our way. This material world is absolute magic, and we can learn to play and share in it, whether we have tons of money or not. It all depends on how and what we want to learn, not on the experience itself. There are pros and cons, lessons, that come along with every experience on offer for us to learn by in this world of form.
Step back and think/see for yourself.
There are many ways of being in this world. There are as many realities as there are people.
When we are being perceived as through the eyes of a person that truly has no idea of what our personal motivation or intentions are/could be — it doesn’t change who we are, it only indicates that they are seeing us as through their eyes. This is usually based upon their ‘experiences,’ — what they are seeing is their motivating force or fear. Their motivating force may have nothing at all to do with us, in such cases we may simply not be interested in learning of that type, as it is not resonant for us. We are free to choose. That is the good part.
Know your boundaries.
We are so much more than our experiences, each one of us. Sometimes there isn’t a way for another person to truly know what inspires us to action — yeah, and so what? Keep on! Don’t allow the opinions/perceptions of others to hinder you, learn to enjoy them instead (speaking to those who get to feel such things). People are beautiful — whether they/we are projecting or not. Life goes on.
We don’t have to invite everyone in to appreciate them. Know ThySelf.
There are many ideas that motivate the actions of others. Let’s work to stop projecting, it only indicates where we can stand to open our eyes a bit more. If we are not in love, we are not truly seeing, so if a story comes up for you, stop that story. With practice, true seeing replaces the muck and mental meandering that comes with old repetitive stories. As a result, we will get to learn more about the true motivations of our friends/family, in actuality. If you ask, and they know themSelves, they will most likely tell you. It really can be that simple!
Don’t allow the projections/limitations of others from your past or your present stop you from being all that you Are. Empaths, I know many of you aren’t too concerned about the ‘opinions’ of others at this point so much as the feeling of the energy that is behind it all — yeah, that is always a joy, isn’t it ;)! We get to learn so much. It is kind of cool, actually!
No matter what others perceive, project or think: Know ThySelf. Remember: God is the seer. Those who have the capacity to see beyond themselves will see beyond themselves, those who don’t, won’t. Either way, it is all O.K.
