No Duplicate Content? A Follow-up

No Changes after almost three weeks. See it for yourself.

On December 1st, I published a story about my shocking discovery of finding the same story displayed three times among the top 10 results for a keyword I searched for on Medium.

Same title, same content, different picture, and published on different Publications by a prominent Medium writer.

In light of Medium’s intent to clean up duplicate content, and warning serious consequences for the violators, I wondered out loud if Medium even had the capability to track duplicate content and dole out the said punishments.

Almost three weeks later, a search for the same keyword showed the same results. Being new, I have no idea who to contact to draw attention to this, so I am going to tag the author of the said story along with some of the writers I know who may be interested in helping Medium, and in effect help all of us. We’re all interested in upholding Medium’s reputation of providing only the best and top-quality unique content.
