No Ceiling Only Sky

Thou shall call his name Jesus; for it is he that shall save his people from their sins” Matt. 1:21
Metaphysical definition. The I in man, the self, the directive power, the I Am identity. Jesus represents God’s ideas of man in expression; Christ is the idea in the absolute. Jesus Christ was the type of man, which includes all the mental phases through which man passes in demonstrating life’s problems. So we find Jesus Christ passing through all the trials, temptations, and mental variations of each of us, “yet without sin.” Metaphysical Bible Dictionary
Jesus Is Tested, in the Wilderness
Metaphysical meaning of temptation — A proving, testing, or trying. The temptations in the wilderness ( Matt. 4:1–11) represent the desires and ambitions of the untried and untrained forces in the subconsciousness. When in the wilderness, Jesus was tempted by the Adversary or personality; but with His superior understanding, He withstood the deceptive promises made to Him.
4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’
I always felt that the temptation of Christ with the devil was the human ego in himself. Jesus did what we all wish we can do. He laid down his ego in the wilderness and destroyed it. And the devil in the Bible represents to me the ego in every human being.
Jesus crossed out the personal self, the ego if you will. Symbolic of the crucifixion.
In his darkest moment on the cross, he cried out to Abba. That has always been a hard understanding for me. Because if he was God in the flesh, he was crying out to himself. It’s like me crying out to me to save me. One of the many mysteries of the Trinity.
And the God I choose to believe in would not have any person whipped and tortured. So I can only accept it was God in the flesh. And the sacrifice was his.
Jesus did not leave the planet at His ascension; he entered the inner spiritual realms. He will become visible to those who “put on Christ” and manifest their incorruptible, undying bodies. Many are conscious of His presence, but they do not see Him as He is because they have not brought their faculties of apprehension up to His standard. When we awake in His likeness (see Psa. 17:15), then we shall see Him as He is. Metaphysical Bible Dictionary.
Let’s all try to bring our faculties of apprehension up to His standard. All people who are on a spiritual quest that is what they are trying to attain. What my understanding is, we all have the Christ nucleus in us. And if it is true, it is attainable to develop the Christ consciousness in all of us.
Christ is the only begotten Son of God or the one complete idea of a perfect man in Divine Mind.
Putting on Christ would be a complete marriage with all there is. There would be only the sky and no ceiling. I could speak the word, and I would demonstrate immediate results as Jesus did; because I would see myself as God sees me. And when I don’t see myself as God sees me, I have a ceiling and no sky.
I believe we were all meant to jump with delight in this life. It is our divine birthright to have this experience. Just imagine how powerful we are when we see ourselves as creators and not only creation.
How many lifetimes would it take to attain Christ consciousness? I don’t know. But I can’t think of anything more worthy of my time.
