Ninth Day Prompt Of Lifeline Poetry Contest
The ultimate success is all about never giving up
Hey all Lifeline poets,
I am here with the ninth-day prompt. We only have six prompts left to finish this contest. All the participants have done a great job by sharing their great experiences.
Today’s theme is “Success”. A favorite theme of mine and maybe yours, too.
Many of us, believe that success is the ultimate goal of life. Everyone’s definition of success is different because we all have different purposes in our life. We all want different things in life. Some people just want to gather knowledge and others might want to get money by using their knowledge. It depends on the kind of person you are.
Success doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a really long process. You need to be alert to be successful because you never know when will you get new opportunities.
To be successful, you have to keep learning about new things.
I believe that the most important thing that is needed to be successful in life is that you need to have is “Mental Toughness”.
When you are mentally prepared, nothing can break you down. If someone can easily harm your mental health then it’s really hard to achieve success.
To achieve mental toughness, you have to keep trying and believe in yourself.
Success is not measured by what you accomplish, but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds. -Orison Swett Marden
Success is what you have learned from your hard work, dedication, and discipline.
Success comes to those who have the courage to keep going on. No matter what happened, you should not stop.
Today’s prompt is,
When did you experience your first success? What is your first memory of achieving something grand or special? What you felt when you achieved it. Write about your definition of success.
The first success is an important and memorable event in anyone’s life.
Share your success story and the lessons you have learned from acquiring that success. Does your first success make you superior in your childhood?
Here’s my response to the prompt,
I first experienced success when I was in the second std,
I got the highest grades in my class,
I was feeling like a superior,
And be able to do anything.
I was happy to receive compliments,
Like I am a bright student.
I was happy to see my parents happy,
And felt complete.
It taught me to be confident,
And do hard work to get what you want.
