9 Life-Changing Micro-Practices

Great inventions do not change lives, but small good deeds do. Any sown things reaped on its own time, but people aren’t patient enough for the huge gain.
If you want to see a significant change in your life in a year or two, you had to focus on the micro habits. Here are some affecting micro habits you should work on.
Write one page daily
You may have come up with some ideas, or you may have intended to write a blog. Write down whatever comes to your mind. Get in the habit of writing. You can start by writing a paragraph. Writing improves your communication skills and memory. Do not overlook the fact that writing also reduces stress. Writing things down clarifies your mind, develop a higher level of thinking, and keeps you motivated the whole day.
Get in the habit of being rejected
Meet at least one-two people whom you hope will not respond well. It could be the owner of particular organizations, a class fellow, or a client you enjoy working with. You must not lose sight of the fact that you have nothing to lose but countless opportunities to gain. More rejections will take you to a higher level of success.
Be a responsive person
If someone sends a message on your mobile or email on your laptop, reply to it as soon as you read it. Delaying a response is a sign of irresponsibility. Over time, this irresponsible behavior becomes your habit. It hinders from facing life’s problems.
React wisely
If someone says something that makes you very angry, don’t react immediately. Think about the real story behind the scene. Ask yourself who will benefit from your reaction. This micro pause will completely change your viewing perspective.
Get things done immediately
Anything or work that comes to your mind and you can do it right away. You have to deal with it immediately. Accumulation of tasks creates stress for the whole day. David Allen writes in his book “getting things done” that any work that can be completed in 2 minutes should be done immediately and write down those tasks that cannot be accomplished in 2 minutes.
“your mind is for having ideas, not holding them.”
Many of us are not aware of the fact that stress and anxiety don’t come to us for doing too much work. It comes to us for not completing what we have begun.
Add water to your routine
Don’t limit yourself to the eight cups of water recommended by health organizations. Add a glass of water to your routine. When it becomes a part of your nature, add another glass to your routine.
Communicate your plan clearly
If you have a brilliant idea in your mind and you don’t know how to communicate it, then this plan is useless. Be focused, articulate clearly, and come up with an action plan.
Habit of reading
Take advantage of the words written in the books. If you are kind of person who doesn’t like reading books, then you can grow yourself by listening to audiobooks and articles published daily in social media. Reading is indirectly related to your self-development and self-confidence in and is directly related to your success.
Be alone for half an hour
Time flies between people so fast that we can’t even give ourselves time. Give yourself half an hour a day and think about what you want in your life because our purpose is lost somewhere in the crowd.
