Nightmare — Not Quite — A Poem

An Acrostic Poem Prompted By Inspiration

Hope spring in each new day. Photo by Ben White on Unsplash

This acrostic poem is in response to the weekly prompt “ Nightmare” set by Jason Edmunds of Taste for Life publication.

If you have been following me for some time, you know I love acrostic poems. I hope you enjoy this and it helps you change your negatives into something positive.

We are born, therefore we must live! Therefore, live well, my friend. All it takes is a simple switch of attitude and bingo!

Nightmare

N — Newness all around. Nurturing and renewing I — I bask in the G — Glory of life. Applying gratitude day in and day out. H — Honouring my life and all that I have. T — That may seem like nothing to some and a goldmine to others. M — Making blessings of every day. A — An attitude of appreciation. R — Reflecting and realising. E — Energised and egoless I live each day with gratitude and contentment.

I honour my peace and uniqueness by faithfully caring for myself on my journey through this life. Finding peace and harmony where, at times, it seems there is none. I turn nightmares into opportunities by choosing inner silence to link to the Divine, calmly waiting for his reply.
