Night Comes in Whispers
Leaving things behind

Sun fades. Moon waits poised off the horizon. Tides ache for their release. Night is coming at last to cover all my sins.
Shadows disconnect. Leaving earthly bodies behind. The dancers wait for the rhythm of the night to soothe their wayward souls.
Sunlight, sunlight wash away these tears. Memories walking two-legged down boulevards awash with all my fears.
Night comes in whispers the wraiths are high above. They challenge the angels for waiting before they shared their love.
